Privacy Policy (or Personal Information Protection Policy)

The Institute will comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other relevant guidelines, laws and regulations in handling personal information obtained by the Institute.

2. Safe Management of Personal Information

The Institute shall implement appropriate organizational, physical, personnel, and technical measures to protect personal information, and shall take necessary and appropriate measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal information handled by the Institute and to safely manage personal information.

3. Compliance with Acquisition of Personal Information, etc.

The Institute shall comply with the following rules regarding the acquisition, use, and provision of personal information.

(1) Acquisition of Personal Information

The Institute collects personal information to the extent necessary for the operation of the Internet information provision website (hereinafter referred to as “the Site”) managed by the Institute. The Institute collects personal information from the general users of the Site (hereinafter referred to as “Users”) to the extent necessary for the operation of the Site. An “Advertiser” is a person who posts advertisements on the Site. (2) Personal information may be obtained from users or advertisers.

(2) Purpose of using Personal Information

The Personal information obtained by the Institute will not be used beyond the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use stipulated below, except as stipulated by law or with the consent of the individual concerned.

(i) Operation, maintenance, and management of the website
(ii) To provide and introduce services through the Site
(iii) Questionnaires to improve Site Quality

(3) Provision of Personal Information

The Institute will not provide personal information obtained with the consent of the individual to any third party without the prior consent of the individual, except when required by law. The Institute will disclose, correct, add, delete, or notify the purpose of using personal information at the request of the individual in accordance with the law, and will respond appropriately to any comments or inquiries.

4. Changes to the Purposes of Use of Personal Information

In principle, the Institute will not change the purposes of use specified in the preceding paragraph, except with the prior consent of the individual concerned. However, this shall not apply in cases where the Institute changes the purpose of use of personal information to the extent that it is deemed to have a reasonable relationship with the purpose of use before the change, after publicly announcing the purpose of use after the change in advance.

5. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

When the Institute outsources all or part of the handling of personal information to a third party, the Institute will thoroughly examine the eligibility of the third party and will exercise necessary and appropriate supervision over the outsourced party to ensure the safe management of the personal information entrusted to the third party.

6. Improvement and Review of Handling of Personal Information

The Institute will conduct inspections of its handling of personal information, management systems, and initiatives, and will continually improve and review them.

7. Disposal of Personal Information

The Institute will delete or dispose of personal information when it is no longer necessary in light of the purpose of use, and will use necessary and appropriate methods to prevent external loss of personal information to the extent necessary for the performance of its business.
